The core of the program is one-on-one mentorship with Katherine Graham, owner and Senior Instructor: dedicated lecture hours, with privates and practice time in between.
The remaining hours come from group classes, observation, independent apparatus practice, and a paid apprenticeship teaching studio clients, with regular teaching checkpoints throughout.
The program combines classical and contemporary Pilates with applied anatomy and biomechanics. Most trainings pick one lineage. Pilates Park's training program teaches the traditional repertoire alongside the biomechanically-sound reasoning behind it.
There is also a strong practical focus: relating to clients, retaining them, and building your confidence as an instructor.
Once approved to work with studio clients, you begin a paid apprenticeship at Pilates Park. You teach clients who know you're an apprentice, you're paid an hourly rate, and the hours count toward your certification.
Enrollment is by application. Email Katherine with a summary of your Pilates experience: past training, certifications, and how long you've been practicing.
